Alford Media’s 10th Annual Chili Cook-off
is scheduled for Sunday, November 20th.

Showmanship and presentation of the chili to the judges is slated for 4:00 with tasting for all immediately thereafter. Staff, freelancers, vendors and local clients are invited to participate in this festive event.

There are no restrictions on chili ingredients (but you must be willing to take the first bite). Each team will be provided a 10’x10’ space, a tent, a five foot table and access to electricity if needed.  Along with determining who makes the best chili, showmanship will also be awarded. How the team’s booth is decorated, the way the team dresses, and how the chili is presented to the judges all contribute to showmanship.  Anyone who’s attended a cook-off in the past knows that showmanship is a “you’ve got to see it to believe it” event and once again everyone attending the cook-off will help judge showmanship. As in past years, the event will also be a fundraiser for a local family in need.

You can enter as an individual or team up with a friend or two. Full info on the cook-off will be forwarded to all entering teams. Entry deadline is November 11th, but the earlier you enter the better for all.  To enter a team contact Steve Alford.
