Who We Are

 

We are a group of dedicated event technology specialists that provide solutions across the U.S. and abroad for our clients, from Fortune 500 corporations to independent producers. We’re known for our technical expertise on challenging events, experienced precision on large-scale shows, exceptional onsite engineers, and around the clock support. We even created our own operational database, which is now one of the largest in the industry, because we understand the importance of real-time, quality communication when developing and executing an event. Our goal is always to make you look good by doing what it takes to realize your vision.

Our company culture fosters teamwork and creates a family atmosphere. Throughout the year, we host fun and inspiring events to promote team building and celebrate with cook outs any chance we get. Since Alford’s creation, we have been built on the value that true success cannot be achieved without the sincere outpouring of goodwill towards our community, which is why we support several charities through fundraising, equipment donations, and volunteer work. Since 2001, we have hosted an annual chili cook off for our employees, family, friends, and community to raise money for a charitable cause.

Our Story

 

Alford Media was founded in Dallas in 1984 by Steve Alford, as an innovator in the evolving field of multi-image slide programming, Steve created award-winning multi-media shows specialized in the flawless execution of corporate events. While Steve was programming shows around the country, Tom Alford, Steve’s brother, started working in the AV industry first as a projectionist and then as a rental manager. As the industry grew and technology evolved, Steve partnered with Tom, which led to the incorporation of Alford Media in 1989.

Since Alford Media’s incorporation, the industry has changed tremendously. What hasn’t changed is the need for tireless, talented technicians who are dedicated to doing everything necessary to make sure the client’s expectations are met while executing a seamless event. Alford Media has remained a premier provider of event technology services and support throughout our company’s history. Our “crew-first” philosophy ensures every show has the best talent on hand. Our specialists are ready to collaborate with clients and seek the right solutions for corporate meetings, trade shows, intimate conferences and other special events.
